I am obsessed with my new pressure cooker and air fryer machine, and I’m now here to share this Ninja Foodi breakfast omelette idea that came out fantastic!Added to our list of easy Ninja Foodi recipes we hope you love it as much as we did.
If you love eggs with meat and vegetables mixed together this is a great way to feed a crowd for brunch without heating up your house. Using the air fryer lid (the one that is attached) you just throw all the ingredients in, stir once and it’s ready in just 10 minutes!

Ninja Foodi Scrambled Eggs
Honestly if you didn’t want to use either lid you could cook this whole thing using the saute function too. I like a bit of crispy along the edges though so I prefer to use the air crisp button on the front stirring halfway thru to rotate all the ingredients.
It is also a nice way to add an additional layer of cheese on to the top during the last minute if you want it really crispy. With 1 extra minute or so you can get an ooey gooey stringy layer of cheddar at the top which my kids fight over. 😉
When we have used leftover ham after the holidays to make this, and it is a wonderful Christmas breakfast idea too. Everyone can request what they like in it and it doesn’t take much time to make multiple batches. Serve with some Ninja Foodi muffins or Ninja Foodi yogurt and you’re set.

Ninja Foodi Omelette
This is what we call it when we add “all the things” in with our large eggs. It makes it a heartier meal with a lot of texture and flavor with veggies and meat all together. I highly suggest that you add things like;
Shredded cheddar cheese is a great add in to the mix and we add another layer on the top when done to really amp up the flavors. Pepper jack will add a bit of heat or use Swiss for a bolder richer flavor.
I like to add a bit of meat into the mixture, spicy ground sausage from Jimmy Dean gives it some heat for sure but ground beef would work too. Love bacon? Crisp a few slices of air fryer bacon and add that in too.
As far as vegetables go you could use all sorts of things. Diced onions, bell peppers or slices of mushrooms is typically what I add. You will saute these with olive oil to start with.
I wanted it to become a bit creamy so I used a can of cream of mushroom soup, could substitute for some alfredo sauce. An optional add in but delicious. If you wanted to add frozen hashbrowns too you would want to saute about 1 cup with the onions in first step.

You’re going to use two different functions on your Ninja Foodi pressure cooker and air fryer. We’re going to use the saute function first to cook our sausage, onions and soften your mushrooms a bit.
Using the Ninja Foodi air fryer lid you can get the top layer of your egg casserole just a little bit crispy…and if you add a thin layer of cheese on the top at the very end that will melt and turn wonderful too.
A gal in my Ninja Foodi recipe share group shared the idea for this egg casserole but she didn’t use any meat. It only took her 5 minutes to get the egg from raw to done however mine took closer to 10 minutes with a stir in between.

Tips
As with any of my other easy recipes it is a base for you to use and add or omit items in it. I found that the more ingredients you add to the egg base the longer it will take, obviously.
Drain any and all fat/liquid after using the saute function so that it doesn’t thin out your egg mixture. That will cause it to be loose and not cook properly. Also, stirring halfway through the cooking process is important. That way you can get everything evenly cooked as you rotate the raw uncooked egg on the bottom to the top.
Add more cheese to the top during the last 2 minutes of the air crisp cooking time if you’d like it to melt/crisp on the top. Check intermittently during the last few minutes to get the ideal texture/”doneness” for you. My husband likes a looser consistency than I do, once you make this once just note down exactly how many minutes is ideal for you.
This is what our Ninja Foodi breakfast casserole looked like when it was done! Just a little crispy on top and soft underneath but definitely cooked all the way through.
